Review: Vacuum Repair - I bought this to repair the faulty push on-push off switch on my Shark vacuum cleaner. (An OEM replacement was not available). I had gotten the vacuum for free, so I wanted a cheap way to fix it. I took it apart and found an affordable switch on desertcart, wired it up, and lo and behold, it works. Mind you, it didn't fit in the vacuum cleaner, so it's just JB-welded to the side of the vacuum. A little bit of redneck engineering, but hey, it works! It's got one of the most satisfying *clicks* of any switch. I want to replace the light switches in my house and at the office with these. It's just so nice. I can only compare it to switching to a mechanical keyboard after years of using squishy membrane ones. A great switch at a great price -- and I have no qualms about its quality/longevity! I believe this switch will last longer than the rest of the vacuum. I will update this review if it breaks/stops working. Switch is tactile feeling and doesn't feel like it'd be accidentally toggled which is good. Wish it had the screw sizes.
