These filters are perfect for a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. They are exactly the same size as the stock filters so they don't cause any noise while driving. I was worried about a potential smell (mentioned in a couple reviews) but it has been a couple of weeks and there are zero issues. Also, note that the two filters provided in this product aren't identical because of how they need to be inserted. The filter with hooks on the side is inserted first and pushed upwards so the hooks hold it up; the second filter is then inserted underneath. A word of advice to anyone not familiar with Mazda cabin air filters - watch a couple YouTube videos first. Unlike other vehicles where the filter is easily accessible through the glove box, Mazda makes you remove several panels in the passenger footwell instead. It's an awkward installation...if any friends owe you a favour, make them do it instead.

It’s been almost 6 years (~23k miles) since I replaced my cabin filter, but that’s because I barely drive my car 4k miles/year. The installation was simple and the filter fits like the old one. I noticed an immediate improvement in the smell and air quality, which wasn’t bad to begin with. My only concern is this filter has ⅔ the pleats of the OEM filter (top of picture). I wonder if having fewer pleats is part of the reason why I didn’t notice much of an improvement in air flow, but this is only a small concern because the airflow was great before the replacement. It also makes me wonder if air flow will decrease faster over time with fewer pleats. The pleats on the new filter are thicker and more rounded than the OEM filter, so there may not be quite as much of a reduction in the total surface area. But, this is a small gripe and I can’t complain for the low cost of the filter. I would buy again, even if I have to replace it a little sooner.

I replaced the ancient cabin filter in a Mazda I bought to fix up. The unpleasant smell in the interior was trapped by the carbon in a few hours of HVAC use. Legitimately good filters!

Perfect fit in my 2012 Mazda 3 sedan and less expensive than paying a mechanic to do it for you. Replacing the filters was easier and quicker than I thought. Watching a 3 minute YouTube video showed me all I needed to know. The only thing amiss and its nitpicky, the location of the filters as stated on the product box is wrong. The filters are located in the front, right side of the console, not in the glovebox. But that is a packaging issue, not a product issue.
