Will this work on chain length fence gate?

Yes - I put it on the gate to my chain link fence in order to pass a pool barrier inspection. It was easy to install and worked great.

Can this be installed to wood gate?

Yes, the Round Post Adapter Kit will work on wood, metal, and vinyl gate material. If you have any questions, our Technical Support team will be able to help assist at (800) 716-0888. Regards, D&D Technologies

this work on yard gate? want self closer & latch because mail and lawncare forget to close gates. I'm unable to go close them, & I have tiny dog

This is actually a round post adapter for the Magna Latch (ML3TPKA). It is not a latch

Can you please list the items included in the kit?

Exactly no it’s been awhile. It had all the brackets and fasteners to install on a chain link gate. It only took about ten minutes to install. If I remember the brackets would accommodate two size of metal tubing on chain link gates. Should work no matter what as long a gate was installed properly.
