Is there an option to have it strung for a left-handed child?

The guitar, nut and the saddle are all intended to be used for right or left hand guitars. The nut may be easily changed, but the saddle is not trivial, as the slot cut for the saddle is sloped to account for intonation. If you don't mind being 5 or more cents off and the action being wonky, no worries, string it backwards. If that's how you roll it also makes a decent canoe paddle, end table, baseball bat, personal flotation device & hydration vessel. Its good to have your dominant hand do the rhythm, the strumming and/or finger picking, more coordination required on that hand.

Any recommendations on a good reasonably priced "hard case" for this?

Yamaha CG2-SC Soft Lightweight 1/2 Size Classical Guitar Case is not a hard case, but is an excellent, sturdy formed-foam case.

What do accessories do you need and how would you add a strap to accoustical guitar?

You would definitely want to get a tuner. There are straps that are made for classical guitar, but these are specific to their instrument. They don't look like traditional straps that you've seen. If you want to use a traditional strap you would have to install a strap button on the bottom of the guitar, and use a string around the headstock.
