Does this phone have a speaker phone function?

Yes it does. the default on most systems that support this phone make the bottom button of the keystrip the handsfree function although it can be disabled

Does this phone have caller ID?

the system has to have a caller Id service and you would have to be receiving caller Id from provider for the phone to show caller id

What is the difference between this and the 7208N which we have previously purchased?

The T7208 is a newer phone and the 7208N is an older phone. If you have an older system the T7208 will not work on your system, if you do have a newer system it will take both phones.
