Waist size is 34-36 would a l size suffice ? using for bjj and m.thai and k.boxingu

M or L should be fine - however this is a personal choice as to how you like things to fit, eg either sealed to your body tightly in place, or more breathing room for the boys. The legs straps do run large for the Venom line, so keep that in mind. I would probably downsize but this is up to you - M probably best. Good luck!
