Should it be near the ceiling or near the floor?** A: After spending 40+ years in the car business I have this to say: (everyone seems to be telling what they did or didn't do for a living 😉) I have that if you mount them from one foot above the floor, to one below the ceiling, or even on it..it is still better to have one than NOT to have one! No matter where it is!! It's like ANY tester or alarm, if you don't have one..that's when it will get you killed. Either way, most people will end up mounting them where they are out of sight. Oh..the 40+ years in the car business Taught me this!l, Any idea how much CO is put out into the air of a car dealership over the course of each day, working on from 20-200 cars a day? A LOT!
