Sturdy, heavy duty
Reliable, really sturdy and so quite heavy. But it's perfect for my home studio, not necessarily for taking out on gigs.

I’ve owned plenty of cheap mic stands over the years—usually in the $20–$30 range—and they’ve always felt flimsy, top-heavy, or limited in flexibility. I finally decided to upgrade for a big event, and after using the K&M 21090, I’m honestly blown away. The build quality is excellent—it’s solid, heavy enough not to tip, and incredibly stable. The boom arm is versatile, and the stand extends extra tall, which made it perfect for miking a choir and a full band. I didn’t expect to be so impressed by a mic stand, but now I’ve bought three more and am retiring the old ones. If you’re on the fence, just get it—this is a professional-grade stand that truly elevates your setup.
