I have to tell you that I thought I had gotten a bum product when one of them would not slide in, but I just didn't have it lined up correctly. Only cost me a bit of frustration and a bruise on my hand(my fault of course). These brake pads were perfect and like I said only issue was installer error. Saved myself over 200 bucks from having the shop do this simple job.

I purchased these brake pads when the rear OEM pads on our 2020 Crosstrek were below 30% but the rotors still looked to be in good shape. Apparently Subarus are known to wear rear pads more quickly than the fronts. These pads dust very little, even when new. They are as quiet and effective as the OEM pads were and sold for a fair price.

Pads were easy to install and performs well but like other reviews they had only one squealer. I did not need the hardware so I can't evaluate the fit for them. They are ceramic because a magnet barely tugs on the face because the backing plate is close. On the new pads, a magnet does not tug at all. The bad thing is the pad opposite the wear indicator wore down more (see attached photo) so by the time it starts to squeal the other pad will be down to the metal. This was on a 2016 Subaru Impreza original pads but don't think I will keep it long enough to find out how they last.

Great brake pads!

The brakes came used and the package opened. Facing a 400 mile drive and no time to wait, I decided to install the brake pads since they looked "new enough" as they were clearly scored from a previous install. Regardless, used is used. I own them now. Less than 5% wear is my guess. The clips were clean and new in package. The pads were open and loose in the box. They squeak a tiny bit with hard braking. Otherwise, they do the job. I'm not surprised at Bosch quality and ceramic performance. I am also not shocked that Amazon underfulfilled my order. I would never recommend people to install used brakes for themselves. These brakes were value priced. Let's hope they don't fail.

Just received these and installed them in 30 minutes. Up to this point, I have been ordering pads from another brand and they worked well but wore out very fast and also squealed (they guaranteed they would not). After they refused to replace them I looked for another brand for my Subaru. My front ones went last summer and I ordered Bosch. Having had a VW before (a sporty GTX sports sedan), I always trusted the brand and thought I could not go wrong with it again. I was VERY impressed with them. Last week the rear ones hit the wear indicators and I ordered the Bosch ones in a heartbeat. 24 hours later they arrive (gotta love Prime). No noise at all, love that they include the brake paste and shims. I did not use the shims but nice to see Bosch includes everything you need. I'm just very pleased with them and will be buying them for all my vehicles in the future.

Used these on a 2012 Outback and they worked really well and are authentic Bosch pads with all the parts you need.

Fits in well in my 2017 Subaru Forester 2.5.
