The length of the board is 30" and width is 12" at its longest and widest part. There is over lapping on the sides, but don't believe it would give you an additional 2 inches, maybe one inch. The length at the tip could give you an additional 2" making only 32". **Q: Will this work ok on a bed?** A: I use this on my bed all the time. I fold the blankets back to make a clearer/more safe work surface, but the board itself is stable on a mattress. I would recommend not resting the iron on the bed though, I use a folding sidetable when I put mine down. **Q: Where is the metal mesh pictured in the description?** A: The metal mesh is the material of the top of the board. ## Frequently Bought Together - Household Essentials 122101 Small Tabletop Ironing Board with Folding Legs - Magic Rings Cover and Pad,Blue Rings - BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron for Clothes, Automatic Shutoff, Nonstick Plate, Light Weight, 1200 Watts - BLACK+DECKER Light ‘N Easy Compact Steam Iron, IR1020S, Stainless Steel Soleplate, Spray Mist, Anti-Drip, Auto Shutoff --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/274971171-household-essentials-122101-small-tabletop-ironing-board-with-folding-legs](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/274971171-household-essentials-122101-small-tabletop-ironing-board-with-folding-legs) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
