Wildlife Photography: Advanced Field Techniques for Tracking Elusive Animals and Capturing Magical Moments : Classen, Joe: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: I haven't read it through completely but the photos and little bit I have read is really good. If you want to do wild life photography, Joe Classen is the guy you want to learn from. Very knowledgeable and doesn't talk with a lot of big words people don't understand. Review: This book is small, short, but has a lot of good advice for anyone wanting to get more from their outdoor experience. I just wish it went into more depth. Overall, recommended.

I am a passionate, weekend-warrior type photographer: every other year I will pick up my camera and go on a big trip to the S.A.R., Wyoming, or Alaska. I admit my goals can be unrealistic. The author's cautions about safety, and tips on stealth, have helped me to dial in my zeal and give me realistic expectations of how to capture nature's finest fauna. I heartily recommend this book.

I read better books but this has some interesting bits about being in the forest. Not much about wildlife photography though. Also photos are rather documentary not really inspiring

I've read many books on wildlife photography and this book is unique. Coming from the perspective of a hunter, it focuses on adapting the techniques and field craft of the sustenance hunter to the craft of the wildlife photographer. Every serious wildlife photographer will find useful information in this book.
