No more fear while changing lanes or turning
Nice small convex mirror, which you can install anywhere (some limitations). My bike grips do not have the end caps, and I don't want to have mirrors looking like antennas. This mirror meets my needs except quality of convex mirror (little bit distorted like the one in haunted house). You can see your rear clearly, but little wobbly. This might be due to its oval shape. Main objective is to see whether you are safe to maneuver, and this offers the rear view. Installation is easy with rubber strap, and adjustment is breeze (easy to adjust its postion for optimal view). Before using this, please make sure to remove protection film so that the view is less wobbly. Overall, great rear view mirror with a rubber strap. Safe Riding!!!

Best Bike Mirror!
I bought this to replace one purchased over 10 years ago. The mirror isn't a real mirror, the image a bit distorted BUT it works fine for seeing what is behind you. This does not vibrate, as other mirrors I have tried did (the vibration makes the mirror useless). This mirror has NO vibration as you ride, so it works well to accomplish a couple of goals: keeping you safe so you can see behind you AND easy to install. I have 2 for each handle. The one I used for over 10 years was replaced because the "mirror" tarnished a bit. This is a good value for the money, it will last years!

very good but not best
I use the Zefal Spy mirror on my Cruzbike S40 recumbent, mounted on the hoods for a nice, aero installation. Inexpensive, easy to place and aim. Holds position on bumpy roads. In fact I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread until another fellow bent rider clued me in on the Star Cycle (Busch and Muller) mirror. In comparison, the Zefal mirror is somewhat distorted so doesn't give as clear a picture of what's behind you. Now usually I don't care all that much about what kind of car is approaching as long as I know there's a car back there. And with other riders, I know who's wearing the red kit, blue kit etc. so I slightly distorted image is no big deal. But I have to say, having also now tried the B&M Star Cycle mirror, it is far superior. Mirror is larger and dead flat. Perfect image. It is rock solid on rough pavement. Can be mounted either on the extension arm or compact and tight to the mounting strap. I now ride Star Cycle on both hoods. Brilliant product.

Very small and not a tight installation
Update: I’ve now used the mirror on a bike ride. Pro: placement is easy, and flexible. If you stretch the band, the mount is solid. The smallness of the mirror is somewhat offset by its curvature with a relatively wide view. Con: you will have to frequently adjust it during a ride, even on a relatively smooth road. The movement is not where you mount it on the bike (if you mount it solidly), but where the mirror attaches to the bracket. The adjustments are minor, but will be necessary. The smallness of the mirror exacerbates this issue. Bottom line: will likely work fine for me. Not very expensive, but also a bit overpriced for what it is. Original review: The mirror is tiny. A bit bigger than a helmet mirror, but smaller than I expected. Yes, I know the dimensions are right on the page where I ordered it. The size may work out ok. I haven’t tested it yet, but I’ve installed it. I’m skeptical it will stay on very well. But we’ll see.

Great for my bullhorn (pursuit) bars.
I recently switched from drop bars to bullhorn bars. I love it! I always rode the front of my bars, and never had the leverage I wanted, and my thumbs were always smooshed against the brake handle. Bullhorn (or Pursuit) bars are 500% better for me. I stay tall in my bike; have great leverage; and don't have to move my hand position between pedalling hard, or breaking. The only thing I miss about my old dip bars is the mirror on the end of the bar. It's been impossible to find a mirror that either doesn't fit the end of a handlebar, or doesn't have an arm. I've never liked mirrors that extend away from the point of attachment. They always vibrate when I'm riding at any decent speed, which is exactly when I need them. This mirror fits my bullhorn bars, and is the most adequate I've found so far. I do wish it had a little more mirror surface area. I use mirrors because I commute in city traffic, and they help me stay aware of available space when I need to dodge a car door, a front bumper prarie-dogging out of a driveway or underground parking lot. If it was maybe 50% larger, this would be a 5 star review. I say that; but then I hate when I've had to replace handlebar mirrors I thought I'd love because I bump them with my knees. These are a size that make them functional and not in my way. The other change that would make this a 5 star review, would be a permanent mount. I don't like the rubber band that holds them in place. It makes then too easy to steal. I'm not willing to remove them every time I go into a building. I've used duct tape to make them less theft-friendly. It's fine. Consider these two issues half a star each. I really do like these mirrors. They sit at the same spot in my line of sight as the old mirrors (just a few inches higher). I feel much safer.

Great little bike mirror!
This bike mirror is great! It stays put and doesn't keep needing adjustment. Despite its small size, it gives me a view of the two traffic lanes behind me, which is all I need. My previous mirror was constantly slipping out of position on the handlebars, even though the mounting bolts were screwed down tight. And I couldn't adjust it up or down, only side to side. The Zefal Spy rotates in every direction and straps onto many different places on the handlebars of my Dutch-style bike.

GREAT Mirror!!!!
I considered this over the bike eye mirror and decided that this was the better way to go based on the bike eye reviews that stated that the bike eye mirror did not allow you to see behind you on turns. I attached this mirror to the bottom of the left handlebar on my road bike and it works great! Easy to turn the bars a little as needed to see any area behind me - including when turning! I give this 10 stars as its easy to attach and re attach as appropriate to anywhere on your bike that may work best to get the view that you wish. I found the mirror to be effective and an inexpensive option in giving me exactly what I was looking for - a quick view of a vehicle or another rider that may be approaching me. Very pleased!

Too small to be effective, no good mounting locations
Let me preface this by saying I rode for over a year without a mirror and did OK, but having a mirror finally seemed like a good idea and I settled on this one because I wasn't sure where I would want to put it to see behind me the best, and this one offers flexible mounting options and an unobtrusive size. I figured I would experiment with locations and find something that worked. A movable, flexible mirror seems like a really good idea, but it doesn't get the job done. First, it's just too small. You can't get a clear view of what is behind you at a glance, just too small of an area to focus on for details. It's about 2 inches by 1.5 inches (yes I'm guessing here) and that is enough space to tell if there are headlights behind you but not much else without studying it. And forget about having it catch your eye with motion the way a rearview mirror in a car does, it's just too small. You have to remember to look at it, although based on my observations of other riders, anyone who has a frame mounted mirror of any size doesn't notice movement in it. I tried lots of mounting locations, and the only place that works where you can see it quickly without moving your head too much is on the end of your handlebar. Mounting it low is just not an option, you can't glance down at a tiny mirror on the frame quickly enough and you take your eyes way too far off the road and the view is never a complete picture of what is behind you because some portion of you or the bike is in the way. If you're planning to ride in traffic, you need to get used to the mirror's location and angle so you can check it in a split second, like in a car. This mirror doesn't attach very firmly, so you regularly have to adjust it. As often as not when I look down at it, it's showing me the ground behind my back tire or the clouds and I have to give it a quick tweak. Now, I ride a commute that includes going down 5th avenue in Manhattan for 14 blocks. Maybe this would work for someplace with less traffic, but even on the portions of my commute that aren't swarming with taxis, I really don't have a good feel for what is behind me without looking over my shoulder. Bottom line, a bike-mounted mirror needs to be bigger, sturdier, and there is really only one good mounting point - the end of the handlbar.
