Keychron C2 Wired Full-Size Keyboard, Keychron Red Switch, White Backlight

My average on a flat keyboard is around 118 wpm. Baseline after a couple hours is hovering 123-128wpm. It is a loud boy yet feels great and incredibly responsive. Slightly irked it isnt defaulted for Windows but that is just my Windows bias. Awesome keyboard will be interested in more of Keychron. I liked the packaging. Lighting is good. Easily configured. Cost was my main point of purchase, id be willing to be invest in a more expensive piece of keychron if this is what they offer at this price point. 10/10 for the price.

I have had 20$ keyboards and 150$ keyboards and so far this has been one of the best. The typing on it is smooth and gaming feels great. If this one ever dies I will buy the more expensive one next time.

I finally found the best keyboard. Purchased in Dec 2023 and still loving it. I’m on a Mac and wanted a mechanical keyboard the was compatible and was full size. I’ve taken back so many keyboards that said they were compatible but just weren’t. I wish I had found this one first. And super happy with the price on top of it!

So far this is a great mechanical keyboard at a budget price. Especially in full size which is shockingly hard to find. The only thing that i wish, is that it came with the windows layout by default. I cannot imagine that many people are buying this for mac first given the market share difference. Another suggestion would be to dual stamp the keys so one doesn't even have to swap. And a correction for other reviewers: windows key is not next to the space bar, so those folks must have installed the buttons incorrectly.

Purchased this keyboard in 'like new condition', but it arrived very dirty and clearly used. I was able to tear it down, remove key caps and clean it so considering the price I'm not too unhappy, but I did notify seller (Keycron) there is obviously a disconnect in actual condition and listing condition. Additionally, it arrived by itself, and was missing all additional pieces (Windows key caps, USB cord, etc.) to which customer service was very responsive and sent me all missing pieces. Saw some reviews stating their customer service was poor, however in my experience they always get back to you very quickly and gave no pushback in providing me the missing items once I confirmed my order with them. In the end, keyboard looks great, no damage, works well and I was made whole.

I just grew really tired of the Magic keyboards that Apple makes, they are awful! I have a nice brown switch kb for my gaming pc and sought out one for my office computer which happened to be a mac mini. I took a gamble with this Keychron since its so affordable but i am very pleased with the results! It has very high quality build and the key presses are so good! The weight is really good as well, it be moving as you furiously type your spicy fanfics! It connects via USB-C and comes with a braided USB-A to USB-C cable which was nice however for my M4 Mac Mini I had to use a USB-C to USB-C cable. No biggie, it still worked fine. This keyboard as a mode switch to switch between a Mac keyboard to a PC keyboard and comes with the appropriate replacement key caps btw, very nice touch! Overall I'm very happy with this product!

Very mixed review. The unboxing experience is very good. For an entrée/basic keyboard it is very nice! Over all, it's 5 stars for what it is. Just not what I ordered. White back light, a barebones mechanical KB (no on-board memory to keep with in my work places requirements) , and Hot swappable switches is what I had ordered. My issue was the description says it's hot swappable. It's not, at least not what was pulled at the warehouse and what I received. I pulled and pulled on the switches and no go. This was one of the 3 main reason for this purchase. To make sure, I started searching stock numbers. and I received a C1-A1, the hot swappable is a C1-*G*1. I can work around it. I have the ability to desolder and replace the switches. So it's "fine", but not idea or what I thought I had paid for. Just wanted to let ppl know when buying to check their part number tags before opening and trying to mod it.

This keyboard transitioned me into a mechanical keyboard fanatic. It feels excellent to type on and the red switches are oh-so-lovely sounding. I'm switching from MX Blue switches, which were clicky and obnoxious. The C2 is heavenly compared to those. Aside from the sound and feel, the keyboard has everything I need--104 keys, USB-C, white backlighting with different modes, and much much more. There are also some nice perks that come with the board. The manufacturers seemed to have lubed the switches beforehand, which made the out-of-the-box sound great. Speaking of which, the unboxing experience feels very premium. They even include extra keys for Windows users. All in all, if you need a stylish keeb that sounds and feels great, and you're on a budget, go with this one.

Absolutely excellent feel and quality. Can type extremely quickly on this keyboard with the red switches. 4* only because the black keys on a black background make it impossible to see properly. But very attractive with the backlight and so easy to use. I prefer the non-backlit keyboard that has a key to quickly lock the screen.
