Yes, you can! The Burger Master Sliders was designed to make portions easy to remove. The best method is to start by removing portions from each corner and then working your way around the container. You break up the pieces and use them later, as many as you wish each time. I transfer them to another plastic pot with screw cap, four in each and use the burger master slider for another load. I season the meat previously, before freezing. So, when they get the heat, they are ready to eat! It is great with groud chicken too. **Q: can I cook then in the mold in the oven?** A: No, it can not be used in the oven or microwave. It is dishwasher safe which makes cleaning very easy. The frozen patties pop out of it pretty easily. So, moving the number you want to another cooking utensil or the grill is easy. I am real happy with it! **Q: After what period of time do burger get freezer burn?** A: Don’t know. If unopened with no air in the burger press it should be good for a few months. I usually remove the frozen burgers & transfer to a plastic freezer bag. That makes it easier to remove just the number of burgers you want to cook.
