I normally won't write a lot of reviews but THIS IS SO WORTH IT! I love our patio for watching football etc, but haven't been able to sit out due to the mosquito swarms. Not to mention, the guy that was partially paralyzed due to west nile -no thanks! I am a mosquito magnet, but after I switched this little lantern on, it's such a relief! I can literally see the mosquitos in my yard, flying outside the 15 ft barrier. TRUST - this is A MUST BUY!!

I'm torn leaving a review because the product is effective against mosquitoes, however, this is the third thermacell product I have purchased where the fuel canister stops continuously providing fuel, so the pilot light goes out. I have purchased four total products, and only one is still working. Two of them worked for a couple days, then stopped. However it works so well against mosquitoes that I decided to try this lantern version, thinking another product line might work better. This one stopped working almost immediately. I have tried to adjust how hard I screw it in, but nothing works. I would very much like a replacement product, or a refund.

The product does what it’s supposed to do, the only issue I have is if you have a fan or if there is a good breeze, it does not work as well as it supposed to. Other than that, it keeps the winged devils away.

Works well with a new cartridge, but the effectiveness drops noticeably when reusing the cartridge that is even slightly used, even before it turns white. It might be fine if you replace the cartridge for each long session, but it doesn’t suit my use case of reusing the same cartridge for several short sessions (15~20 mins at a time). The zone setup time takes too long and refills are too costly to make this a practical solution for short sessions.

It doesn’t keep mosquitoes away as we hoped. It seems to have some effect, especially with a fresh patch the mosquitoes do not immediately attack us. But I still see them fly by and trying to bite us. The lantern and burner system are well designed and easy to use. So the product itself is great. It just seems there are less mosquitoes and I would like there to be zere around the repellent.
