I have a Grill Dome Kamado Grill, that I've had for 10 years. Two years ago the inside of the grill needed an upgrade - the Grill Dome accessories were enameled covered steel which was rusting. The lodge cast iron pan I was using for a heat deflector was also rusting. So when I was looking to rehab my wonderful Kamado, I came across Kamado Joe's Flexible cooking system. I was hooked. I wound up buying the Flexible cooking rack, a couple of the stainless halfmoon grills, the halfmoon Cast Iron grill, the halfmoon cast iron griddle along with the deflectors. I am very happy with this set up. I primarily use the stainless grills for all indirect cooking. When I do the Sear part of the Reverse Sear when grilling steaks I break out the cast iron. This is a well thought out system and well made. Wirebrushing the Flexible Cooking Rack for the first time since last fall, it looks very shiny. They also sell a halfmoon piece of stone. Not sure how often I'd use it, but nice idea. The pieces fit fairly well in my Grill Dome.
