I like to cut & add my own filter media after I do a water change, these help catch & filter out all the small particles! They are great! My only issue is they fill up & soil quickly for me & I have to change them out within 1 week otherwise they bloat & push up the top of my aquaclear filter cover. Good quality & thickness, easy to cut to size, durable, functional.

These are perfect for anyone who owns a fish tank or a turtle tank! We have a turtle, aquatic frogs, and a gold fish which means we go through filters like nobody's business. These are super convenient because we no longer have to worry about running out of a specific filter. All we do is snip it down to the size we need and bob's your uncle! It fits in both Tetra filters we have (Goldfish and turtle) and the Top Fin filter (Frogs). We discovered after some experimenting, if you cut it about an inch or two larger than you need, it's thick enough to make a little pouch out of the layers to fit tetra filter frames. (The green frames with the clip on the top that come with Tetra's bio-filter packs.) We did this for a while, but for now we've decided to forego the frames and just keep it as is. I only wish it stated exactly how many microns it is as I'd like to know if I should be getting polishing filters in addition to this one or not. It does a great job on its own, but I'd like to optimize my filtering systems accordingly. Either way, this definitely does the job. It cleans well and is way cheaper than buying individual filters - especially if you are a multi-aquatic pet home like us!

Good product and absorbent and use for my coach

Very good replacement when having multiple different size of filters. Works very well only reason for 4 stars is because other filters meant for certain filter systems have multiple levels of sponge within filter. Will continue to use for some filters but not all.

I use this as a pre filter for my laser cutters air purifier. It does a great job and is way cheaper then buying for laser company.

Purchased multiple times for my tanks. I was hand cutting it for filters for betta tanks. Way cheaper than buying the ones specifically for the tanks and easier to get. Recommend.

It’s a nice product at a nice price but much too dense to work with my pond skimmer. Perhaps I’ll find another use later

Leaves my water crystal clear! Material seems to be thicker than usual filter floss, making maintenance less frequent.

This is what I use to polish my water in all of my aquariums. It works very well and I will continue to use it.
