I am wanting to make a mold of 3 people holding each other's wrists(triangle shape). Will I need 2 kits? Is it safe to use over jewelry?

We would recommend two kits - you will also need plaster bandages. It is probably more cost effective to by the alginate in the 3# box. As for jewelry, some stones can bond, we recommend you test first.
