will this harden varnish?

Hi there, this product would not work for a varnish.

I have 2 quart cans am I able split one envelope for both can?

If one envelope is designed for a one gallon paint can, one envelope should work on up to 4 one quart cans (@4 quarts per gallon). Good luck.

one month ago I paid $2.34, planned to buy more & they are $7.65, why did the price more than triple in one month? Is there more than 1 in the pack?

WOW that is ridiculous! I don’t know, you’ll have to read the description. It should tell you if it is one pack or multiple packs. Hopefully there are multiple packs for that price! Inflation is out of hand!

Does the paint get hard or just clumpy? I used a pack on 1/2 gallon of paint and it make a semi-dry mushy mix.

This product should solidify the paint, as long as it’s properly mixed.
