I was skeptical but SUPER impressed
So I donโt typically compromise on lighting. Iโve installed numerous conventional 6โ can lights throughout our home with relatively costly LED trim kits and generally been happy with the results. When I stumbled upon these and realized they were about half the cost of 6โ cans with LED bulbs, I crossed my fingers and bought 30 of them for our basement. First off, these are well engineered lights. Someone put a lot of thought into this design. They are very easy to install with simple tools. You will need 1/2โ knockout clamps and thatโs about it, save the wire, switches, etc. Most impressively, these can be positioned anywhere on the ceiling regardless of where your joists are located, but only on new installs (before hanging drywall). I pre-installed the ballast boxes before hanging drywall. Regardless of where you want lights or the locations of my joists, the lights will fit given how the clamping mechanism works. An example of what may perceived to be a problematic joist location is included in the photo. However, this is a non-issue for new installs. But, you cannot do this for a retrofit as the ballast box is a bit larger than the opening provided for some joist locations. For retro-fits you definitely want to be clear of the joists. Regarding light output, Iโm pleased but Iโm not quite sure they put out the stated lumens. I have cans of the same rated capacity at a slightly greater spacing in another room and the overall luminescence appears to be the same. I went with a 4โ by 4โ spacing in the photo and am happy with the results. Better to have too much light and dimmer rather than not enough. I used a 4-1/8โ hole saw and it is perfectly sized for the job. The lights come with an integral gasket which is great if there is an uninsulated space above, but this results in the lights sitting not quite flush with the ceiling. Itโs not objectionable but Iโm picky. Since this was a basement rehab, I removed the gasket and they sit tight and flush with the ceiling. Itโs a very clean look. The Lutron dimmers recommended work flawlessly, not a hint of flickering and they dim down quite low. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to provide either longer cable lengths between the ballast and light or provide an option to buy extension cables. For new installs, the light needs to be located within less than a foot from the ballast. This was not an option for me in some instances so I needed extension cables which were very difficult to come by. However, there were relatively inexpensive when I finally located them from another vendor. All in all these are absolutely worth every penny. You cannot go wrong with these lights provided you plan ahead on new installs. On retrofits there should work issue and they would be ideal for drop ceilings. checked all 30 lights when they arrived and all functioned without issue. I cannot speak to longevity as my lights have less than 40 hours on them. Provided their longevity is a good as this product design, I donโt expect to ever have to replace them.

Easy Install and Super Bright
These Ensenior 6-inch LED recessed lights were incredibly easy to install, even with no existing cans. The slim, canless design made the process quick and clean, and everything fit perfectly. The lights are very bright at 1200 lumens and the 5CCT selector is a great featureโI could choose the exact color temperature I wanted for each room. They dim smoothly, look modern, and instantly upgraded the space. Great quality for the price and perfect for anyone wanting an easy lighting upgrade. Would definitely buy again.

Very bright, nice build quality. Fairly easy to install, with one complaint.
2nd Update: I'm nearing the 5 year limit on the warranty, and I've had to replace nearly every light. I'm not sure as to how many of the original 24 lights have failed, as Ensenior's customer service has been outstanding and I replaced many lights before I started to keep track. At some point after many failures I started to write the date of installation on the back of each replacement, so I could track whether I was replacing an "old" light or one of the new lights. So far I have not replaced a light with a date written on the back, so it looks like only the original 24 are being replaced, which leads my to believe that the entire original order was just a bad batch. I cannot say enough about Ensenior though, they have been fantastic honoring the warranty. I just bought another set of 12 as I'm starting to feel bad about contacting them for more lights. With any luck these will be great, and the originals will just be a one-off bad experience. Update to original review: After 2 1/2 years of perfect service, one of the 12 lights started to flicker, then died completely. I decided to check the warranty, and was amazed that it was still active (warrantied for 5 years). I contacted Ensenior via Amazon and within 8 hours I had a response! They are not only replacing the bad light, but have shipped a second for no additional cost. Equally impressive is that they have requested (but NOT required) that I ship the bad light back at their expense to see what went wrong. Fast, efficient and friendly. Amazing customer service! The lights arrived well packaged, but four of the lights had some very minor damage to the spring retainer clips. These lights are designed to be held in place by springs that grip the sheetrock, and these springs have plastic "feet" on them to help spread the load. Four of the lights had the plastic portion of these spring clips broken, right out of the box. These had minimal/no effect on my installation, but I would have hoped that QC would have caught this at some point. The lights are very well made. The junction box is well thought out. The knockouts actually knock out easily, the edges of the box are not sharp, the wiring is done with the newer styled quick connectors that do not require wire nuts, and the boxes are roomy enough to easily accommodate up to 3 14-2 romex wires. The one complaint that I have is that the low voltage plugs are manufactured to such tight tolerances that they can be difficult to insert. I had to shave the tips of several plugs to get them started, and even then they were a very tight fit. I'm a fairly robust guy, and getting the plugs seated took considerable effort. I think that while tight tolerances in general are desirable, in this case it would seem to be a bit overkill. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the lights, and the value they represent. In the picture you can see the 8' fluorescent tubes that are being replaced by these LED's. The LED's are brighter, come on instantly at full brightness, and cost less to run... What's not to like?

Great lights, bright and adjustable
These lights are great. The light is bright and clean. You can adjust the temperature level so you can install in a bedroom or an office. Set the temperature before you install them. You can change it afterwards but that means back on the ladder with more insulation falling in your face. Follow your local code as to which wire to get or hire an electrician. Easy install when you have attic access but not necessary. No attic access then get a good fish tape. I have them installed in bedroom, living room and office. Absolutely zero complaints. The builder wanted thousands for extra lighting but these and some diy effort cost a few hundred. I had the tools and had to purchase the three wire, Wago wire connectors, electrical tape and wire protectors. Or hire an electrician. I love these lights.

Very good quality and best product to buy
The Ensenior 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights turned out to be a solid upgrade. The brightness is impressive โ each light puts out strong, even illumination, and the adjustable 2700Kโ5000K settings make it easy to get the exact tone you want. The fitting is smooth and secure, and the build quality feels reliable. One of the best parts is the thin canless design. The low-profile housing makes installation easy in tight spaces, even under studs where traditional recessed cans just donโt fit. Overall, itโs a well-made, bright, and versatile lighting option that works great in almost any room. Very easy to adjust

Looks great and easy to install
The lights were very easy to install and they look great. I like the fact that they have the ability to change the color from 2700K-5000K. So far they work great and produce lots of light for my Man Cave.

Updated - excellent lighting!
Highly recommended. 3 months post installation and my wife, the chief product reviewer in our house, and I continue to be impressed with these lights, so much so that I will be buying them again for my upcoming basement reno. Light intensity ranges from a very low level, without any flickering or hum at all using a Lutron Maestro MACL-153M dimmer, up to very bright. The ability to change the color tone (we chose 4000K) helped to adjust to the ambiance of our kitchen decor. The one critique I had regarding the size of the wiring box is minor in comparison to the performance of these lights. Ensenior reached out to me because of this issue and I found them to be genuinely interested in customer feedback. 5 Stars also to Ensenior. Overall: Very satisfied! Pros: Very bright light with selectable LED coloration; fits tight to ceiling (note - foam gasket is not necessary if not installing in a damp environment); works with my existing Lutron Maestro MACL-153M dimmer; powered 11 lights; relatively easy to install* and great overall. Cons: *The box is quite small, especially if you are daisy chaining the lights as would be the case in most installations in Canada using 14GA wiring. I would suggest that the box could be 2 or 3 inches longer to accommodate the above.

Love these LED pot lights
I love these things (12 pack 4Inch LED Recessed Slim Pot Light with Junction Box) 5 selectable color temperatures means you can select warm white to harsh white to match the room, dimmable and don't make any buzzing noise (but that might depend on your dimmer). So slim they install anywhere even if there is a joist right where you want to put one, these are getting installed all over the place in my house!! A couple of things that could make them even better - 1. If the junction box was just an inch bigger it would make installation so much easier. 2. Make sure the wire is properly seated in the wire splice block before cramming it into the box coz the wires can pop out - even better replace them with Wago lever locks which is what I did. 3. Why don't they chuck in some 1/2 inch plastic romex cable connectors? - for a couple of cents each it would just be a nice touch. 4. Buy extras / spares - they're cheap so grab a few spares for if/when some fail in case you can't get them anymore in the future. 5. Get a good hole cutter and you won't regret it, I got the Milwaukee adjustable hole saw (C$35) and it's worked really well so far (about 40 nice clean holes). 6. Don't skimp on the number you plan to install, with 8ft ceilings if you don't install enough you can end up with dark spots in your room, but this is the same with any pot lights so read up about standard spacing for pot light installations. 7. Buy a good dimmer if you want to dim them, if you get a cheap crap dimmer switch you will regret it. Most of my comments above are just tips / advice and not criticizing the product itself, becuase these LED pot lights are fantastic.
