I've tried a lot of sleep masks over the years. I want that balance of blocking the light; not being too hot to wear and something that works/comfortable for a side sleeper. I've found some masks that work well for a nap on my back, but everything digs into the side of my head when I'd roll over. There was too much padding on either side to make it comfortable to wear all night. I ended up using a t-shirt. I noticed this mask claiming that it was good for side sleepers. As my husband would say, here I go again.... I decided to try it. I'm so glad that I did! It has the feel of a t-shirt so it's soft and comfortable. It blocks out all the light and when I roll onto my side it's flat. Nothing is pressing into my head/ear. It honestly feels like a soft t-shirt on the side of my head. This mask is awesome!! I only wish that there were more colors to choose from. What I don't know yet, is how it will wash up in the washing machine. Does it stop all the sweating, no, but I'm also at that lovely age that we women dread. Do we have oily foreheads, yes. I just hope that it maintains its shape after a good wash.

Never used a sleep mask before, but had to look one up as both my partner and myself lately have suffered from work stress that results in disrupted and bitty overnight sleep. The difference is, my partner uses her mobile when she can't sleep to scroll through stuff to help her go back to sleep. That kept me, on the other hand, from falling asleep again (or woke me up in the middle of the night, as i could detect light through my closed lids). Rather than sleeping separately (we still enjoy each other's company :-D) I decided to check out sleeping masks to see if that could be a solution. Two things were a must: a) I mainly sleep on my side, so the mask should stay put (and not get dislodged or be uncomfortable) when turning from side to side (with my head rolling on the pillow), and b) the mask must feel comfortable on the head (which precludes synthetic elastic straps around the head, as they're tight and pull on my hair). After a bit of search I settled on trying this mask (which got star reviews). To begin with, I was apprehensive for I'd never used one before. Right enough, the first few nights were difficult as I wasn't used having stuff around my head whilst sleeping. Very soon, however, I got used to it and after that, wow, my sleep quality improved massively! Things that work well: - This, I imagine, is one of the softer sleeping masks on the market. The cotton lining is extremely soft and makes for a cool interface, meaning my forehead and face don't sweat. - Like others have said, no light goes through this mask when I got my eyes shut. None whatsoever. If any light might creep in slightly is from under the nose, when I have my eyes open, and that's because I wear this mask quite loosely fastened around my head. - Adjustable fastening, WITHOUT synthetic elastic straps. Cotton cover extends all round the mask, which fastens through a velcro strap that helps adjust how tight you wear it around the head. When wearing it very tight, it gave me a slight headache (as i've said I'm not used wearing stuff around my head during sleep), so I loosened it a bit and it feels super comfortable. - Through the night, I often roll from side to side and my head does the same on the pillow. Because this mask is, in effect, one size/thickness all round, i.e., no thin strap vs main mask bulk contrast, it doesn't get dislodged against the pillow as my head moves. Instead it follows smoothly my head movement, and does so even worn more loosely fastened than it could be. Also, I don't experience any pull to my hair through the contact with an elastic band. Things that don't work well: - Nothing really, except that first couple of times I wore the mask quite tightly fastened and I felt pressure on my head through the night and my forehead sweated a bit. But that was my own fault, once I loosened the velcro strap a bit, I never had the same effects. Results have been a massive success. It allows me to sleep quite well through my partner's trawling through social media on her phone (even a couple of times putting her bedside light on to search for pills) and, thus, kept the both of us in the same bed! I've now ordered a second one to wear while I wash this one and will be taking it on my next trip abroad!.

Mit Abstand die besten Schlafmaske für Seitenschläfer. Bei anderen Masken hatte ich immer das Problem, das diese verrutscht sind oder gedrückt haben, wenn ich mich auf die Seite gedreht habe. Diese Maske sitzt perfekt, ist sehr weich, verrutscht nicht und erzeugt auch keinen Druck. Auch das kein klassisches Band vorhanden ist, sondern die Ohren gleich mit bedeckt werden ist sehr angenehm. Absolute Empfehlung!!

Really really really love this mask. I got it 7 months ago and I have not treated it well. I have washed it only one time and it hasn’t given me any skin problems at all. Also it’s extremely soft fabric and stuffing makes it cozy. It’s lost its stiffness the last couple months so it slips around a teeny bit if I make it loose. I am sure had I treated it better it would have kept it shape more much like how washing jeans makes them tight again, but it doesn’t matter to me because it’s really comfy and I don’t mind if it moves half an inch while I’m asleep not noticing. It’s dark, it’s comfy, and it covers the ears a bit so it muffles sound. Nothing like ear plugs, just some dampening of the sound. I guess like a closed door maybe. I wouldn’t know, my cat ensures we are never allowed to close our door haha In fact I love it so much that I just ordered another because my puppy also loves it. It smells like human AND it’s extremely soft and filled with cotton stuffing... just like her stuffed animals. Today I finally found it in her bed with half the stuffing out ❤️
