So, as the private key never comes off of this device..what happens when it blows up/wears out ?

Accepted Answer

You would need a new TREZOR device that you could restore the lost info using your recovery seed. Recovery seed is a mnemonic code made of 12, 18 or 24 words depending on your choice. This seed is generated the first time you run TREZOR and will help you recovering it's contents (private keys, bitcoin balance and transaction history) into a new device if you lose your TREZOR.

How many different types of currencies can be stored on one trezor, also can maidsafe coin be stored on one?

UPDATE 2017.08.31 :: The latest *production* firmware includes new coins. As of today, a week after I flashed my firmware, my Trezor now supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Litecoin, Zcash, Etherium, Etherium Classic. Note: Etherium and Etherium Classic are managed via alternate website.

If you loose your Trezor, would you loose all the crypto currency in it?

Only if you also lost your recovery key.  The Trezor does not store any crypto currency. It is an interface device to the blockchain.

Do you have any information about fees to send bitcoin with this?

Accepted Answer

Bitcoin fees is decided dynamically based on the network usage condition. Trezor offers different fee structure where user can choose to pay high or low but depends on the amount you are sending also how many inputs from that transaction consists of, the more inputs the higher processing needed for miners, the more expensive. Also if you choose low fees it may take a long time to confirm transaction when the network is backlogged with over 100k in transactions. FYI, The miners' fee is not charged by any wallet but rather by miners. Hope this information helps.
