Sheath is strong and holds it well. Size is about right for medium sized hands so if you are a "XL glove" sized person consider the larger version. Blade was sharp but not with a polished edge. Be careful re-inserting in sheath on belt, take your time. Mine CAME WITH A CLIP! You don't need to buy a clip! (Will use the one I bought for extra or perhaps for a different sheath.) The included clip holds very well and has a cut out near the opening of the clip that latches onto the edge of the belt. It took me a minute to figure out how to get the clip off, so it holds very well. The clip I bought along with this is identical. Conceals quite easily. For an off-side backup this is an excellent choice.
