I have purchased quite a few platform beds and was initially hesitant to order this one online as I like to test their stability before buying. In the same week I purchased a bed from a local store that was 4x this price, and this one off Amazon. This one was BY FAR a better quality bed. Pros: - Handy ratchet tool that makes putting it together a breeze - Velcro system that ensure the bed slats are properly spaced and don't wobble or move, thereby eliminating noise and motion - Very solid legs, high quality screws and fasteners. I'm confident this bed will not start to creak or loosen at the joints anytime soon - I purchased it for my son's room and wasn't too concern with its looks, but I am very pleased with its clean, warm, modern yet inviting look Cons: - The only con is that the frame could stand to be 1/2 inch wider. I purchased a double/full and the mattress bulges out the sides slightly off the frame. It would be nice if it was fully resting on the side rails - There was a lot of styrofoam in the packaging. The bed did arrive in perfect condition, but if like me you are trying to reduce your waste this bed creates a huge amount of garbage (there is no styrofoam recycling where I live)

So I was upgrading my bed and mattress and saw this bed with all the great reviews and figured I met my possible perfect bed-match! The bed came earlier than promised. And was very heavy so it seems like it may be made of real wood as advertised. When you open I must say it’s extremely well packaged and protected. I had to enlist the assistance of my partner to assemble. He has fairly big muscles and it looks even better when he’s flexing them while taking care of his Queen!😜 Took him like an hour to assemble. And I love the bed slats are connected and have Velcro to keep them together and help the mattress from sliding around. May I say genius idea! Anyhoo I am getting sidetracked. The bed. It’s big. It’s beautiful. It’s well made and sturdy and so darn cheap in comparison for what you’re getting. Value for money and classic design. I hope the manufacturer doesn’t raise the price because of all of the great reviews. Now the kind size is currently out of stock! I ain’t surprised! It’s just an amazing bed! So just remember folks. This isn’t the bed you think you want...it’s the bed you need and deserve! Hopefully it will last a long time and not break at the happy hour! 😹😹😹

I never leave reviews. But I am so pleased with this bed frame. It was so heavy, had to have son move into house. But that is not a complaint as it is so sturdy and all parts fit perfectly. Looks very expensive in quality. I have the headboard at the lowest and will probably raise as my mattress is very thick.

Review is for the twin size in rustic pine. The bed frame is solid, real wood as opposed to "re-engineered wood" from sawdust and glue. This makes it relatively light and strong. Everything fit together well, and of course they provide all fasteners, even some spares, and the wrench required to assemble the item. In fact they provide a small ratchet wrench making it even easier. The package arrived very well beaten up, scraped and dinged... but that was the outer layer. Then there was another box inside of double layer corrugated cardboard... it was also damaged. THEN there was yet another inner box of double corrugated cardboard which was only dinged in one place. Inside all of that was the product... not damaged at all. It was wrapped in foam, and spaces were filled with some kind of Styrofoam... but the Styrofoam was itself packaged in plastic bags so as not to fracture and fly all over the place. Extremely well packaged. One might ask how much of the price is for the packaging... but the item arrived unscathed. IMO this is a very good product, excellent packaging, highly recommended.
