I have the system on a 17 4 runner and it seems to increase the horsepower slightly and the gas mileage increased by about 1.5 mpg . I don’t think anyone can give specific horsepower figures without putting it on a Dino. Thanks **Q: I know filterwears f122r will protect it from rain, but is there a physical lid?** A: No. Your hood is the lid. **Q: Has anyone figured out a good way to keep the filter secured?** A: Tighten the screw **Q: Does this fit 2011 4runner sr5?** A: It should, I have a 2019 SR5 4Runner and I love this filter...things I would expect to have to do: 1. get a new vacuum hose from the intake ($6 at autozone) The stock hose is too short and replacement that is sent with the intake is pretty stiff and won’t fully cover the nozzle on either end. 2. You’ll need a file and some isopropyl alcohol to rough up the edges of the filter mounts and clean/dry them. They’re a hard plastic and covered in an oil to keep them from drying; however, if you don’t do this, the filter will keep slipping off the mount into the engine bay as you’re driving. 3. Get used to the whistle the Spectre produces...it sounds like a turbo diesel. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved the sound *by R***K on 4 October 2023* Loved ### ⭐⭐⭐ Review *by S***E on 31 January 2022* Esta muy justo para instalar, no tienes nada de margen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***U on 10 July 2020* Parfait pour RAV4 mais ne fait pas sur Lexus 06-13 (dans la description ça dit que ces instalable sur une Lexus is250 06-13 je confirme que ce modèle ne fonctionne pas ## Frequently Bought Together - Spectre Performance Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Desgined to Increase Horsepower and Torque: Fits 2010-2019 TOYOTA (4 Runner, FJ Cruiser) SPE-9002 - K&N LIFETIME Cabin Air Filter: Premium, Washable, Clean Air for your Cabin: Compatible with Select 2000-2022 Toyota/Subaru/Land Rover/Jaguar/Lexus/Scion Vehicle Models, VF2000 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/269264541-spectre-performance-air-intake-kit-high-performance-desgined-to-increase](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/269264541-spectre-performance-air-intake-kit-high-performance-desgined-to-increase) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
