Sony's controller is made in China just like almost everything else in the gaming world. **Q: I bought the shell thinking all ps4 controllers aer the same but i feel like the sehll i got doesn't fit. is model number cuh-zct1u compatible??????** A: No. It might fit but won't feel right or look like it's properly assembled you need cuh-zct2u or second generation dualshock 4 controllers easy way to tell difference between gen1 and gen 2 is on the top of the touch pad block for Feb 2 you should be able to see the light bar THROUGH the top portion of the touch screen block on your controller. On gen 1 controllers you can't. **Q: does this fit the 055?** A: I don’t have the blue and purple one but I have the blue textured one and it fits my controller great.i do know that the chameleon color has two models and they each fit different controller models so I would recommend reading the description for both, if that helps. **Q: Wil this work with a pro ps4 shell** A: Not sure, please refer to the second picture of the product, take apart the controller to confirm the model number. Also had a blue bottom case and that one fit just fine, seems like this one was just warped. Unfortunately for me, I only realized it after the return window closed. Be warned! Do a fit check upon delivery! UPDATE: After my review, I received a message from the seller, "play different". They offered to send me a replacement shell, which they absolutely didn't need to. The seller definitely went above and beyond with customer service. Because of this, I've changed my review from one star to four stars. The service was definitely five stars, but because the first shell was defective, and made me go through all of this in the first place, I had to only give four.
