The Original Magic Jetz Scrubz J27 Scrubber Sponge Rectangle - 3 Pack is without question not only the greatest sponge in the world but quite possibly the finest product I've ever bought on Amazon and I am a very frequent customer (averaging almost 300 orders a year lately.) Let me tell you why, let's start with everyone's favorite, cost. At about $4.50 per sponge in a 3 pack the price is pretty good especially when you consider "the world's greatest title." Factor in for me unprecedented durability and the cost is fantastic. Working on a year and a half for the first sponge and multiplying by at least 3 therefore totaling at least 6 years were talking about a savings over my previous multi packs of blue or green scrunges. More importantly let's get to quality. All I can say is wow. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be writing a review about a freakin' sponge. Pardon my almost french. I am compelled to write this though because I am amazed pretty much every time I use the Magic Scrubz hereto known simply as Magic. To simplify I'll mention the top three things that astonish me. First the way it locks down or almost grabs onto dishes is something I've never experienced. It grips as it gentle washes in a very unique way. Secondly the scrubby side is very scrubby without being abrasive on dishes or Teflon cookware. The third thing and what I maybe even more impressed with is its lack of a smell even after month's of uses. Ever other sponge I've used has to visit the microwave for sterilization after a few weeks even with thorough rinsing after each use. Or a recommended trip outside to be decontaminated by the sun's rays something I learned about a couple years back. This thing stays fresh as the day I bought it. i don't know how, must be Magic. Bonus factor is I like how it only needs a little bit of dish detergent to lather very well and do an almost sink full in one shot. I can't say enough, yes I'm in love. I have found the one.

A superior product! Cleans dishes, pots and pans really well. No stinky smell and no discoloration. They also last a really long time. Love ‘em.

These sponges are the best and I will keep reordering them until they're no longer made. They hold soap well and are very good at scrubbing off almost everything stuck to my dishes. The only thing I don't love them for is melted on cheese and grated cheese dishes. They hold up for a long time, can go in the dishwasher to refresh them.

These are long lasting scrub pads and not prone to clogging.

The durability of these sponges is amazing. I bought the set of 3 in April and finally tossed out the last one in January 2026. They never smelled bad and even when they start coming apart, it's very minimal and only after months of use. Definitely am buying again.

I’ve been using these for years and I just love them! They don’t end up stinking like other sponges do. They last pretty long. I throw them in my dishwasher when I want to wash them.

For years I was a die hard Rescue sponge fan. This is even better! As I still wash all my kitchenware by hand, this sponge is a must have! It's thin enough to be very flexible, unlike all the current scrubby sponges out there, which means you can get into all the nooks & crannies as well as the narrowest stemware. The scrubby material is coarse enough to do the job without scratching & the spongy, quilted back holds a lot of soap & water, but wrings out easily to barely damp. Another wonderful thing is the color (charcoal gray) which is highly serviceable in the kitchen. This sponge feels durable leaving no residue behind & remaining clean smelling if not wrung out & unattended. If you do any dishes you NEED this! Worth every penny!

I never notice an unpleasant smell on them and am most satisfied with how they perform. They're not the best at scrubbing but are gentle enough for everyday needs and one usually has a rougher scrubber on hand, for tough tasks. I love the color black but wonder why these sponges ONLY come in solid black?

I had an older review, but having just had an amazing encounter with my first sponge, I had to update this. Having just bought some nicely expensive japanese knives, in the middle of washing one of them, the lower part of the cutting side got caught up in the soft side of the sponge. People, these knives cut nori as if it was nikuman. I once grabbed this knife there with my hand and got a cut so deep had to give myself stitches (and not the kind that Mendes kid sings about). I bought this sponge nealy a year ago, I'm still in the first one (don't get me wrong, you can keep them clean and antiseptic, just do that fun microwave trick - though I'm really just a bit gross because I haven't really done that yet, nor do I own a microwave). The knife did not win the fight, and neither have the bacteria... That or my imune system is just really amazing.

These sponges have changed our cleaning game. We're happy to have them after getting frustrated with cheap yellow sponges that fall apart. They haven't scratched any of our non-stick items and have held up really well! I would not clean your knives with any sponge, including this one.

I've been using these for years and they never fail! Being able to toss them into the dishwasher to freshen them up is great, but I've never had to do so! They stay neutral smelling, even when left on the counter wet, in the summer. Plus, they never stop scrubbing. Of course, I have to make sure to rinse them out whenever I use them, for max life. One of these pads can last me over 6months, so, I give them as gifts to friends who I know have lots of washing up to do!
