I found this book to be very helpful. The layout of the book reflects big print, is easy to read and fairly easy to follow. A cursory review of any book site will find the book well with mostly positive reviews from many who have used this book as a companion to or assigned reading material of New Testament seminary courses as well as those who have endeavored to gain additional insight into New Testament reading. Most will find this book easy to read and follow. Even those not familiar with the New Testament will find this book a valuable resource. The contents include five parts. There is an evolution to how the parts are presented, first explaining the political and cultural background that reflect the historical, religious and philosophical context and settings that influence the New Testament. One drawback to the book is that it provides terms but does NOT provide the meaning, only the pronunciation.
