This bit makes a good clean cut. So you are cutting a 3" x 4" 0.25" deep? **Q: does this bit cut acrylic like Plexiglas and leave a good edge?** A: This bit will cut acrylic, however a o-flute bit would be better suited. Any bit you use will probably still leave some visible signs of cutting, the edge can then be polished or some people use a torch to smooth the finish. The key is getting the correct chipload and making sure the part is held firmly.
