I have tried almost every flavor of this mix and this recipe works great for all. I use 1 &1/3 cup of mix and 3 cups of liquid. The mix tells you to just use water. I have not done that. I use 2 cups of water and 1 cup of milk. I have used regular milk, 1% milk, 1/2 & 1/2, coconut milk. I even made the pineapple with 2cups water, 1/2 cup pineapple juice & 1/2 cup of regular milk. They all turned out great. Each was soft, but very good, so I did put in the freezer for a while. Stores well. One more hint, if you have a 1&1/2 quart mixer try 1 cup of mix with 2 & 1/4 cup of liquid. (That would be 1 &1/2 cup water and 3/4 cup of milk) I may try cream later, but that will really increase the cost.
