Accessible enough for non students
Unusually I'm coming at this with no medical background or plans to train whatsoever. However, as a (too rapidly) ageing woman I'm increasingly interested in the subject, one which is still talked about in hushed terms in public. This book is accessible enough for lay people and provides an interesting background to all the medical examinations, conditions and tests that a woman can expect to experience in her lifetime. Very interesting reading.

Where is the colour?
The entirety of this textbook is in black and white, despite the product description describing the colour coded sections and images, and 'clear, concise and colourful'. I can also see from the previous reviews that others recieved a colour version. As this is a medical textbook, black and white photographs are not informative, especially the pictures of anatomy through laparoscopic view! Not happy!
