I tan easily during the summer and usually have to use a darker foundation. However if I am going to use this powder I will just use the lighter foundation. It somewhat balances it out to match my complextion. I am going to go ahead and purchase the light powder and will update my response shortly. So other than the powder being a little on the dark side, it did work great/as intended. It lasted all day in the sun and pool and for the most part did exactly as described. NOTE/SUGGESTION:I wanted to see just how well this worked so I applied my own foundation (femme couture 8in1 tan) to the top of my hand and then applied powder as directed.
