Flashlight Pal Holds Your Compact Flashlight at Swivel Angles
The Flashlight Pal was invented by a New Jersey electrician who needed something to hold his flashlight while he worked in dark areas. Rather than jamming a dirty flashlight butt into your mouth to hold it, this Flashlight Pal is a much more comfortable and effective solution. It has a side clamp that allows you to easily attach it to your belt, or shirt collar, or baseball cap. There is a handy built-in swivel joint that allows you to turn the flashlight to whatever angle you need it, which in my opinion is the most valuable aspect of the device. It is a nylon-like sleeve of spandex that will accommodate high-powered compact flashlights of varying dimensions, probably up to about 1-1/2 inches. I just got a nice high-power new compact flashlight on Amazon and it works just fine. I think it is about 1" in diameter. If you happen to have a longer flashlight with a wide lens end and slimmer barrel, that will probably work,as the Flashlight Pal can open on both ends to allow longer barrels to slide on through. This is a brilliant solution to what I am sure is a very old problem for service personnel looking into dark spaces where there is inadequate illumination from other sources. I even got one for my brother for Christmas.
