I have a partially torn ACL, quad tendonitis, and arthritis in one of my knees and this is a huge help! It’s braced with a hinged brace during the day but still hurts so I went with this one to wear at night. Best decision ever. Not to long I’m 5’7” 150lbs it’s adjustable. I don’t understand reviews that say it doesn’t fit you can take the whole piece off with the loops and move it so my guess is some ppl don’t realize this. It does slide down with movement but not a prob for me as I’m using at night to sleep. If I were to use during the day I’d probably put something under it to prevent slippage. That flexible band aid would probably work great. My knee feels so much better when I wear this at night reducing the number of days I have to wear my hinged one during the day. Not ready for surgery so I’ll keep on bracing until it no longer works. Easy to use, completely adjustable, and fairly comfortable for a brace lol. Stop looking at the others on here this is the best bang for your buck!

I am 5ft tall and for knee immobilization the 12” brace worked perfectly. The longer lengths made it difficult to get around on crutches. The brace is well made and economical. The steel rod in the back of the brace provides excellent support.

This product provided great support for my broken knee. The doctor had given me a much longer on which was very uncomfortable to use. This one was easy to put on and take off. It stayed on pretty well but I needed to put a rubber shelf liner underneath for it to stay in place better. My only complaint is that the velcro tore up the material on some of my pants when I was wearing the device over my pants. The velcro rubs against the opposite leg and wears down the material.

It’s good for immobilizing my knee while I sleep. But not great for walking because it slides down my leg. It feels well made, good quality. The pressure alleviates the pain. I took off 2 stars because I can’t walk with it since it won’t stay in place. I bought the 12 inch and it covers down to mid-calf (I’m 5’5).

This knee immobilizer is great. It does not come down at all. I originally got this due to needing an upgrade from the 23 inch one I got. Thus one keeps my knee straight and I don't have any issues with it sliding down. It easily goes over clothes and I can adjust it myself without the help of others! Definitely recommend!!!

I tore my acl and needed an immobilizer (not a stabilizer)brace. When I got this brace I was very hopeful. I need something short, but can completely immobilize my knee so I could work. Let me say this brace is well made. Problem is it’s too well made. After many tries I realize this brace was just too thick and bulky, so I got to debulking. 1) I cut off the straps and metal loops. The straps have no stretch so they’re useless. They can never be pulled tight enough to keep the brace from slipping down. I figured I could use my own black stretchy Velcro wrap. 2) I cut off the trim around the entire brace. It was excess material contributing to the bulkiness. 3) I realize the padding on the entire brace is also very thick. I cut a slit on the inside to see if it would slide out. No dice. First, the inner padding and outer shell cannot be separated, and if I scraped all the padding out, the outer shell would be very thin like pantyhose. 4) Finally I concluded the reason I couldn’t get this brace to fit tightly around my leg, is because it’s too thick and has no stretch. This is why it will never stay up. Imagine trying to tie a phone book around your knee tightly with a rope. So, I gave up and used all the metal stabilizer rods from this brace to “Mcgyver” my hospital brace.

I’m not sure if I have a fracture yet but it helps the pain I’ve had under my knee for about a week and a half, so I’m just wearing it for comfort for now. I’ve had other (longer) immobilizers, one that went from the top of my leg to my ankle and it was difficult to apply by myself and kept slipping down no matter how tight I adjusted it. It was also difficult to adjust the panels to fit my legs, which were much thicker almost two years ago than they are now. But this immobilizer can also be adjusted, not sure if some people aren’t aware of how these 3 panel immobilizers work, but they usually come on the smallest size and you have to separate the panels and put them back together so that they can fit a larger leg. They usually come with instructions, but I wasn’t given the instructions from the hospital when I got my first immobilizer, so it was a while before I figured it out. This one does not slide down my leg (I’m wearing it without any clothes underneath). And it immobilizes my knee and prevents the hyperextension which is something I do naturally and causes pain since I sustained some kind of injury. I’m seeing an orthopedic surgeon this week so I will hopefully have X-rays taken at the very least and get an exam that will give me an idea of what my latest problem is.

This is exactly what I wanted for night-time use. The 19"-20" brace that I wear during the day is too uncomfortable for sleeping; yet I need to be able to keep the knee immobilized at night. I looked at a lot of products. Chose this 12" brace because it is a true immobilizer with 2 rods that run along the sides of the brace that keep the knee from bending. It is very adjustable and has allowed me to sleep more naturally and with the confidence that I'm not doing any harm to the knee while sleeping. I'm 5'5", very slim-framed and happy with this product.
