Our house is self constructed from a range box so it is mega large and easily housed the bedroom set. **Q: Can this fit an American girl doll** A: No. I return this item because it was made in China and had chemicals that could possibly cause cancer. It was very cheap and did not look at all like the picture. I would not recommend that you buy it. Amazon's quality appears to be of a less standard than they used to have.
