Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Jigheads Tackle

The zman shroom jig is an absolute must for all anglers looking for a finesse bait that 100% catches fish! I have caught large mouth bass, small mouth bass, crappie & blue gill only using a few times this summer. Perfect for the 4” TRD baits (ned rig). I like to tie my line directly to the shroomz jig head however I have used a swivel snap and have still caught fish. I don’t think that it drastically interferes with the action. Love to use on my medium light 6’6” fenwick hmg rod. I would absolutely recommend adding these to your tackle!

i yse these cause they wirk.i like diff color offers. diff weighs..only thing is wirms be slideing off after 2 casts. you have to keep pushing ur worm to head they need to ipgrade lure keeper or ad one to shank of hook.i hsvent used superglue but thats what i have read to do to prevent the worm slide deal. i have tried a few other brands but for now i feel these are the best buy and if u fish ur gonna lose some. buying 2 bags a week or so is the norm.. payin 6 bucks for a vmc 3 pk or the tungsten heads is pricey.

Coming from a company like z-man I expected a whole lot more. Had two of the six jig heads hooks break and others chipped paint almost immediately. Good design all together but bad materials. edit: added a star back because i have had better luck recently with the jig heads. some just last and last off rocks and in snags no problem. may just have had a bad first batch

These go with the zman worms made to match these jig heads. They go well together. I have been noticing a lot of other people using them so they work. Sadly, the fish are getting used to them. A few things to keep in mind. First, when a fish takes these, let her take it and set the hook with a very gentle raise of the rod almost like using circle hooks. The hooks are crazy sharp but are also very thin. They are not designed to be ripped through a fish's mouth. Setting hard usually just takes it right out of the mouth. The other consideration is these are not weedless. Any thick algae or weeds will get ripped up by the hook. This makes it tough to feel a bite or just a salad being ripped from the bottom. The whole setup with the worm isn't heavy so it doesn't penetrate all weeds and can skim along the top but a weedless version, which they make, is needed for really weedy spots. In the right place with a rocky or fairly clear bottom these work great and are something many fish have not seen. Like I said, they are good enough that the secret is no longer a secret. That's a sure sign a product is good when everyone wants it!

This is a great jig that works great on bass and crappie. I paired it up with a pumpkin seed finesse tube and the bass couldn’t resist it. It does get snagged on logs and rocks quite a bit, but the hook is just playable enough to bend free without breaking. I was able to bend it back into place several times and then go on to catch several 4-5 pound bass.

Anyone complaining about how brittle or how easily these bend, quite frankly have no idea what they are talking about and probably have minimal fishing experience. These are finesse hooks and are thin wire hooks and are designed for very light hook sets and proper use of drag. These hooks do exactly what they are intended to do and do it well as long as you know what you are doing. Always use the lightest weight you can and learn how to fish this rig and you'll be very happy with these.

These lures have been great. The Bass here at the lake love them.
