Rock solid, thick legs, very high workmanship of materials and nothing is loose, and so well thought out with its features: one-hand easy open leg locks that don't pinch fingers, quick open-lock half-bowl for levelling, auto-ratcheting leg positioning locks, integrated removeable centre column, etc. It has taken me buying seven other tripods over the years to now and finally being able to say this one is THE one. This tripod is just great! It's very sturdy, easy to use and has a couple of design features that I'm sure other brands will copy. First off, it's really sturdy, especially for a tripod without a spreader. I've used this in many different scenarios, and it works great for its size and weight. The leg clamps are easy to adjust and aren't noisy. They slide in better than any other tripod I've used apart from the super high-end Sachtler. The best part of this tripod is the swivel top mount that allows you to level any tripod head without adjusting the legs. I highly recommend this tripod over anything near its price range, especially the Manfrotto and Benro brands.
