I would estimate they would hold 12 quarters depending on how close together you place them. **Q: Will this hold coins in individual hard plastic holders or do coins need to be taken out?** A: Taken out **Q: Are there any larger sizes** A: No I don’t believe so. Mine are on a shelf. **Q: Will the frames keep sterling from oxidizing?** A: I have used these for several years now.
