Review: Cheap! - I didn't purchase this for the battery itself, but for the circuit board inside. The reason for needing it was because I removed the UMD drive from my PSP to add a huge smartphone battery, and needed a board to solder in to keep the battery from overcharging. This was the cheapest unit I could find, and it has been working great! 5 stars for my application!
Review: Don't do it! - The average life on this battery is 2 hours, which would have been fine except it only lasted 30 minutes and would constantly lose connection to the terminals. I got it, left it charging overnight and every thing seemed fine. When I loaded it up the next day, it appeared as though my PSP was brought back to life, but as soon as I loaded a UMD, the screen would drop out. It wasn't until I plugged it in that I realized that the cause was the battery and not my firmware.

I didn't purchase this for the battery itself, but for the circuit board inside. I thought I had fried my psp and here the battery was fried. I got this to replace the one in my psp from leaving it on the charger to long too often. it comes loose in my psp so i put a folded up paper in it and works like a charm.
