Review: Quality picks! - Liked the 1.1mm the best The 1.5 mm is little too heavy. Might even try a couple of thinner picks. Quality product and price. Highly recommended.
Review: Try these if you like Dunlop Jazz iii's or Jazz picks in general. - Slightly larger than a Dunlop Jazz iii but smaller than a Dunlop Jazz iii XL. Brighter than both a nylon Dunlop Jazz iii and a tortex Jazz iii. I would also say that the Black Ice pick 1.10mm feels stiffer than the Dunlop Jazz iii 1.14mm tortex. It's like getting the stiffness and resistance of a larger pick in a slimmer form. The tip is as good as the other brands allowing for excellent precision. [Duralin (also known as Acetyl or Delrin) is a unique material with an extraordinary combination of strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, fatigue resistance, and low friction.] - D'Addario.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wish these were just a little bigger
*by F***T on February 24, 2026*

While slightly larger than the Jazz III picks (which is a good thing,) they're not quite big enough for my tastes (the Jazz III XLs are better if you like larger picks.) However, I feel like these will fit the bill for a lot of players, as they hit what seems to be a niche when it comes to the size. These aren't terribly expensive compared to the JD Flow picks that I settled on. However, they're Derilin, which makes them pretty much the same as the Tortex picks.
