Robertson's Mincemeat 411g- Fast

This mincemeat filling is delicious! The jar is a bit small to make a fully filled pie and may be best used in small individual pies, but the end result is lovely.

Mincemeat was sold out at all our local markets so I ordered this for my Christmas Mincemeat Pie (always accompanied by a Guiness). Made a great pie.

This is OK just a little to sweet. It's just not like mincemeat should be.

I have been purchasing Nonsuch Brand mincemeat for over 50 years and making mince pies which are my husbands favorite. He didn't like this brand as much. It had a more citrusy taste but Nonsuch is way out of my price range these days so I was forced to find another brand. One jar is not enough to make a 9 inch pie so I had to buy two jars which is still very expensive but not nearly as much as the Nonsuch brand. I am not a fan of mincemeat but I didn't think it tasted bad, only that it was not the same taste my husband craved.

Jar is too small, and the mincemeat lacks depth of flavor, it's just sweet. Depressingly blah.

I made a pie out of it. It took two jars for a thin pie. It wasn't my cup of tea, but my husband LOVED it!!! He said it was how he remembered it from when he was young. So, I'm going to give it 5 stars. He has pretty good taste. He chose me, didn't he? lol

Très bien. Pour faire des 'mince-meat pies'. Je pense qu'une autre fois j'ajouterais des pommes découpées au mélange comme un internaute a recommandé. Cela le rendrai un peu moins sucré et l'étalerait davantage. Attention de ne pas les faire cuire trop longtemps (ne pas les assécher.) Excellent. Great. To make mincemeat pies. Another time I would add pieces of apple as someone proposed, to make it less sweet and make the mixture go further. Careful not to cook them too long (and not let them dry out.) Excellent.

I could not use this product as it had already been opened and obviously some of the contents remioved. The lid was loose instead of being sealed. Very disappointed!! Was looking forward to making mince pies for Christmas.

Jar arrived safely. Well packed. Now all I have to do is get baking! We have missed our mince pies, so hopefully this year we can enjoy some.

Mince pies n'est pas "tourte à viande hachée" mauvaise traduction Google! J'espère que la plupart des clients sauront ce qu'ils ont commandé! Très on produit en tout cas. Robertsons - une référence.
