I herniated 2 discs 18 years ago and every few years do something to really annoy the lower back and the sciatica pain comes back. This time it was moving house from one state to another, I really messed up this time. This inversion table helped me get my lower back better but don't think this will do it alone if you have severe sciatica, it will take a combinations of efforts. I took inflammation medication from the doctor, 1 to 1.5 hours a day of sciatica back stretching, core exercises and 15-20 mins per day of this inversion table. It took me 3 weeks of that regimen every single day, without fail. The inversion table is solidly built, easy to put together and it works! I could not give it 5 stars as the ankle/shin pad is extremely uncomfortable and I have to wrap my shins with a towel before clamping the bar to your shin area.
