The smart lock that does it all!
I started looking for smart door locks for our new place after getting tired of fumbling with different keys for the front and garage door locks. I could have gotten the locks rekeyed, but I decided to install smart locks on the two doors and get rid of keys altogether. After getting used to fingerprints to unlock and log into most apps on my phone, I just couldn't get myself to buy a smart lock without fingerprint support. The Eufy touch lock seemed to be one of few fingerprint smart locks out there backed by a well known brand, but it didn't come with wifi support. I heard the wifi version was coming, so I decided to wait a couple of months and finally took delivery of the updated locks last week. The locks are pretty easy to install, and come with good instructions and well labeled/organized parts. The locks took about 15 mins each to install. The app is also pretty easy to set up, and I can log into the app with fingerprints on my android phone. The one setup quirk I had to deal with is that selecting the "touch lock with wifi" when adding a new lock to the app didn't work. The QR code scan wasn't doing anything. I noticed that the product code on the lock was not 8520, but 8510, which is the same code as the non wifi Eufy touch lock, so I decided to add the non wifi touch lock to the app. This time, the QR code worked, and I was able to add the included wifi bridge separately and pair it with the lock. This should be good news for those of you who have the regular touch lock, as it indicates that you will be able to add Wifi support when/if Eufy starts selling the wifi bridge separately.I programmed each lock to unlock with three different fingerprints, and have been very happy with the responsiveness of the fingerprint scanner. It seems to be faster than the under screen fingerprint scanner on my Samsung Note 10+. The unlocking process with fingerprints is extremely quick and seamless.I also added my wife as a separate user, so she was also able to register her fingerprints with each lock. Each user also gets to select a 4 to 8 digit pin code (different code for each user). The app lets you customize a lot of things, including auto lock functionality (lock after duration, auto lock schedule with start/end time), wrong attempt timeouts, lock sounds, scramble pass code (add random numbers before and after your actual pin to hide it from prying eyes), etc.I've only had the locks for a few hours, but I have been very pleased with how well they work so far. The only minor annoyance is that one wifi bridge cannot connect to more than one lock, so if you have two locks like I do, you will have to have two wifi bridges operational. It would have been nice if the wifi bridges supported multiple locks, but it's not a deal breaker.

Excellent product!
I love this product for several reasons. The fact that it holds a charge for as long as one year is amazing. This was the main reason why I switched to this Lock. I have an Airbnb property and do not live in the area, so I needed something that would be reliable. Also, my prior lock required the use of regular batteries and this one is rechargeable which saves a lot of money overtime. It took thirty minutes to install.

Great Lock
NO HUB OR GATEWAY NEEDED. The lock was simple to install. The one issue I had was to get it to connect to the Wi-Fi, I had to power it up, not in the door, closer to my router. It seemed that the location that I was installing the lock was too far from the router, it would not connect to my router. When I took the lock off the door and laid it on the kitchen counter, near my router, it connected. Then I took it back out to my walk-in garage door, installed the lock and it connects to my Wi-Fi, go figure. So if you are having trouble with the initial setup and the lock does not connect to your Wi-Fi, remove it and move it close to your router and get it to connect, don't complete the setup at this point, stop as soon as it connects to your Wi-Fi then put it back in your door and finish the setup. Not sure what the issue was, but now it connects to the Wi-Fi. Everything works great. Fingerprint works, put mine and my wife's fingerprint in, works. Codes work. Remote access works, drove several blocks from my house, had the wife stand at the lock and observe, and I was able to lock and unlock the lock. Connected the app, or lock, to Alexa and it works. You need to open your Alexa app and get the settings, set.I have, had, another lock, but you need a hub located within 10 feet of the lock. This lock, no hub.

Great smart lock
I bought this lock to replace a Kwikset smart lock that had abysmal battery life. Installation was very straightforward and the app is very well designed imo. The fingerprint capability has worked flawlessly and the lock construction and quality is very good. The WiFi connectivity and stability has worked very well in my situation. I have 3 locks installed. This lock was highly rated by consumer reports and thus far I would concur.I will see long rem if the touted 1 year battery life pans out but very pleased thus far…

Excellent
My first impression I was really impressed by the build quality of this lock. It's heavy and really built like a tank! Installation took about 20 minutes. I was looking at several brand and Eufy is the only one that had finger print with Wifi which is a definite key deciding factor. Passcodes/App to unlock is a cumbersome and should be used a backup.Pros:- Easy to install (20 minutes for me)- Wifi bridge works well- Fingerprint sensor works fairly well- Build quality is really great- The thing looks great and relatively low profile- Love the many different ways to access- The App is good and intuitive. Makes pairing super easyCon- Not really a con but the finger print doesn't work as well during cold climate, takes a few tries but overall works majority of the time- Built in Wifi would be great

Eufy... the good and bad.
Man, what a let down. Some major disadvantages from this unit over the previous one. But one pro - the keys can now be duplicated. The previous model had keys that could not so if you lost one (they used to supply 5), you were out of luck. This updated model includes 2 keys you can then duplicate wherever -- bad thing -- it can't be re-keyed so if using as a rental and you give your key as a backup in case of failure, there's no way to re-key the lock after they leave. The other cons:- Integrated battery "pack" defeats the need to replace AA batteries like before but the bad news is that you can't simply replace the batteries and be done. Instead, you will need to remove the battery pack, charge it, then reinstall. Charging takes several hours. I suppose you could buy additional battery packs but, one step forward, two steps back.- The door lock does not lock automatically very well. I thought it was a defective unit at first so I exchanged it. New unit is the same as before. Previous model would lock well, no issues. This one for whatever reason, doesn't detect the door being closed as good as the previous model. I am constantly having to lock the door manually (in-person) or in app. One time, I didn't pay attention and found the door had been unlocked overnight. Yes, I've tried re-calibrating, resetting, updating firmware, etc. It just doesn't do it well. Maybe a firmware update will address this in the future but this is super concerning. Closing the door behind you and assuming it'll lock automatically is just not a thing anymore (I miss the older version of the lock as it just worked well.). Already contacted Eufy about this and didn't get anywhere.- Battery life is horrible. I do not have a high traffic spot at all and battery drain is bad. Having to recharge the battery so often at this point is just not good. So, stuck with using the keys until this is (hopefully) addressed in a firmware update.I'm researching other locks with better reliability as I just can't justify having this installed and feel comfortable that it's doing what it should. I was such a fan of the older model with the weird keys because it just worked. The AA batteries in those units would drain fast as well which makes me think Eufy just hasn't perfected their devices. That older model worked well for about 2 years and then started eating up the high priced lithium batteries in about a month. At $20+ for a pack of 4 lithium "super" batteries from brand name suppliers and replacing every 4-6 weeks just wasn't feasible.Sadly, I'm returning this and switching to a different brand.

An Excellent Must Have!!
I have always wanted to get a smart lock so I wouldn't have to deal with keys at all and neverhave to worry about getting locked out of the house. I recently stayed at a luxury condo at an Airbnb and it had a Yale pin pad smart lock. It was amazing not having to use keys so I decided to finally just go buy one. I researched for hours to find the best smart lock for me, and the Eufy smart lock hands down won. I loved all the features especially the fine print reader. They have a newer model with built in wifi, but this one was much cheaper and since it came with the bridge it does everything the newer model does- but more! With the bridge it had a SD card slot that can record video with Eufy security cameras. I love that so your not having to pay for a monthly subscription for cloud storage. It also acts as a speaker for Eufy doorbell. My phone has a finger print reader which I always use, it takes a second or two to recognize and unlock so I was wondering if this would be the same, or slower. That's why I liked that it also has pinafore for a code, or even an actual key if the batteries happen to die. It does have a USB jack on the bottom so if the battery dies you can hook up a power bank to it. I was pleasantly surprised that the finger print reader works extremely well and fast! It gets it right the first time every time and works almost instantly. I love it!! I am working on making my whole house a smart home, I have all the main rooms completed so I love that using the lock can trigger smart home routines to say turn on all the lights and turn TV on. The Eufy lock looks and works better than the Yale lock on the condo that is more expensive. I love literally everything about it from the design, build quality and feel, and the best part is no more keys!!! It's very cool that it comes with extra security-it has an extra sturdy door latch that screws in deeply to the door casing and wall to make it a lot harder for someone to push the door in. Another favorite feature that I almost forgot to mention is the autolock feature! You can set the timer for 1 seconds to 3 minutes upon closing the door to when it locks. I have it set to 1 second and is perfect. It's nice that it has a door open/closed sensor built in- most smart locks either don't have it or is an extra sensor to attach to the door. That's great because it will only lock if the door is fully closed and will let you know if the door is not securely closed. It was very easy to install. I can't say enough good things about it. It was 100% worth the money! If you have been thinking about it but debating on if it would actually be worth it- the answer is yes yes yes get it! Lol You'll be so happy you did!

Excellent quality and performance!
I have been looking for a smart lock for my door to have access for tenants and get a control for who is entering the house. This is having all the smart features needed for control like fingerprint sensor which works perfectly, auto lock customisable, audio features for notifications, lock codes for multiple profiles. The best feature is rechargeable battery which last long for 1 year (yet to be tested) and does not require multiple batteries to be plugged in every few months. The installation was way easy I installed in less than 15 minutes.Excellent build quality and performance, no issues experienced and it does not require any bridge.Works fine with smart devices- Google and AlexaHighly recommended!

The device is perfect until it breaks down in less than two years.
This is the third one I have bought, the first one was E130 model, it was excellent and worked for exactly 20 months and broke down from one rainy day, although it rarely rains here. The second was 230 model and the same thing happened to it, after 17 months, it rained and broke down. I bought this one for the last time because I couldn’t find anything else in the same size, so I have to paint the whole door, and I don't have the time to do so.BTW the first 2 I bought from USA.

DO NOT BUY! We bought on sale while out home was renovated so we cannot return it. It constantly is confused whether it's locked or unlocked. Has bad interface design (locks when you put in passcode) and sometimes just straight up won't unlock when you put the pass code in multiple times. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
