Is this the one that will fit on {is for} the "Vitamix Model 5000"??

I bought this part in 2005, and it fit my 5000 perfectly. After 14 years of heavy use and five kids, it has finally cracked and I just ordered a new one. We love our blender on steroids.

Does this kit include a new screw to hold it in place?

Kit includes drive socket, set screw and allen wrench. Basically everything you need. One word of caution the set screw is slanted at an upward angle just like the original and be sure to start the set screw first but not too far just a turn or 2. Also make sure the socket is seated completely I had to slightly tap mine in it kind of snaps in place.

This does not fit!!!!!!! And it is not returnable either- do not buy for your 5200!!!!!

hello, does it fit for vm0122 model?

My model Vitamix is VM0103 and it did fit mine. I researched it every which way and read on some sites that it will work with my model while other sites said that it will not work. I took a chance since it was not too expensive. It took a lot of nerve on my part to finally try it out and use my machine but when I did I was very happy!

バイタミックスTNC5200 ほぼ毎日10年以上使っていて、コンテナを買い替えたのでドライブソケットも交換しました。比べるとやはり摩耗しています。交換して安定感が増した気がします。付属の金具でネジを緩めて上に引いて外し、（ネジを外してしまわないように注意です。本体の中に入り込んで一苦労でした）新しいドライブソケットのネジを緩めてはめ込み、ネジを締めます。ネジ穴を塞ぐゴムも付属していました。

I ordered this 10 years ago, having had a Vitamix blender for 5 years at the time. I like to be prepared! Anyway, after continued daily use, I finally needed it today. There was an awful smoky burning smell coming from the existing drive socket but with the replacement in place it's all good to go again. It took about 10 minutes to do the job. Note that you need a blob of silicone sealant to finish the job.
