Yes,E570 shall use this trackpoint,low profile trackpoint cap.

What do they feel like? The original on my ThinkPad is sort of hard and hurts my finger over extended use - is this the same, or softer?

I found that it was much easier to use my think pad with the new trackpoint tops. The tracker was much easier to use, and much more responsive so I did not need to press down as much (perhaps the cause of the pain). A significant improvement!
