Rainforest Ladies Rain Jacket-Colbalt, Small

Didn't know what to expect but WOW! was I surprised. Great quality. Size fits as expected. Color is outstanding!!! Better than imagined.

The size chart says a 4 is a small...I wear a 4 and ordered a small - this jacket is Huge. Fits more like a large. I wrote the company and they stated that I was mistaken that a 4 is an XS...But that is not what the size charts says. So they have wrong info on the chart. The jacket itself is not lined at all and does not seem like it would stay dry in rain. It is actually thin material. one layer, no lining. the collar itself is very large and doesn't quite fit or fell comfortable either, especially if the hood is zippered inside, then it is just a big lump. The color is nice, style would be nice - if it wasn't so chunky and or lumpy in the collar. I am returning the item - unused as it is so large and cumbersome.

Overall fit is big and not fitted, hood is really small.

I like it, but I don't love it. I was hesitant about getting a rain jacket with buttons and do regret that decision, but I did not rate it any lower for that since I knew what I was getting. I hesitated because buttons take more time compared to a zipper and if it raining I don't want to fiddle with buttons. But the style looked cute enough I decided to go for it anyway. I regret it because the buttons are more difficult then I expected. Oh, well. I marked it down a star because it fits right in the upper half and flares way to much in the lower half. In the picture it looks balanced, but on me it looks a bit strange. However, it is good enough for a rain coat and works so far in light rain. The color is very nice and it seems well made.

I like this coat so much that this is the second one that I have purchased. I left one in a security line at an airport last year and was very glad to find this on Amazon. I'm 5' 2" and the small fits me perfectly. The cobalt blue is pretty without being brighter than I would like. The top button is a bit of a challenge, but not much of a problem. I didn't wear it in a downpour, but it kept me dry in drizzly weather.

The hood looks so crazy lol. The collar makes it worse. I don't particularly care for the collar with out the hood either. It's a nice material and beautiful color but oh my god the hood looks weird... No wonder they only have a pic of the hood up from behind.

Love this coat! I would hae given it 5 stars but it fits a bit small in the shoulders. (I am in-between sizes and ordered down from M to S based on the reviews). No doubt a M would have fit better in the shoulders (I am broad...a swimmer), but likely would have been big everywhere else. I like the collar with hood inside and the style...very cute! Not your typical raincoat. I bought it for a travel vacation to Eastern Europe so needed something that would handle a bit of wet...and look good for the opera! I think this will do the trick. Am very happy overall. It might not keep me terribly dry in a downpour...but should handle a light storm.

Excellent jacket. Excellent price. Waterproof without plastic or rubber finish. Beautiful color (cobalt). Sizing is very roomy; I ordered a small but typically buy medium, and still found the sizing generous. Shipping was very fast.
