Our son had been peeing through his diaper since about 14 months old (when he started sleeping longer stretches at night). It of course would wake him up as he was soaked and so was his bed. For example our guy wears a size 5 diaper and we bought the 4-6/2T-5T and they work really well. We started with a size 4 (as some had recommended) and that wasn't enough. We also sized up in our night time diaper. All I know for sure is that I owe these little inserts my life!
