Overview: We have been using this toothpaste on our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since we got them as puppies. They are now 2 years old with excellent teeth and gums! We tried the adult toothpaste when they turned one year old, but they did not like the chicken flavor. They absolutely love the peanut butter flavor, and the baking soda really helps with their breath. Every time that I take them to the vet, they are very happy with their teeth and gum condition. The last visit, the vet scored both dogs’ teeth and gums and gave our female a score of 0.2 out of 4, with 1 being the best and 4 the worst, and gave our male a 0.3 out of 4. I usually brush their teeth every 2-3 days. Arm & Hammer is a name that I have grown up with, and I have learned to trust their products over the years. This toothpaste is no exception. Pros: The Enzymes break down the tarter, which keeps their teeth clean and gums healthy. The baking soda helps with cleaning and also keeps their breath fresh. I consistently receive positive feedback from my vets for both dogs’ oral care. The peanut butter taste is well received by both dogs. It is cost effective. Cons: None noticed with the peanut butter flavor, however, they do not like the chicken flavor as much. Conclusion: This is a high-quality product, at an excellent price. Even though this states that it is for puppies, they both really like the taste, and we have been so satisfied with the results that we have continued with this product and will do so as long as we see these results.

Great product for brushing our Maltipoo's teeth. It seems to work well, and it is a good value given the large size of the tube. Latest checkup with our vet indicated that his teeth and gums are doing very well.

It's not the fault of the product, I didnt read what flavor it was before buying it. Chicken flavored toothpastes all smell awful, I think that's just a feature of it, but my dog does love it. It has the same consistency as human toothpaste, it's easy to do, and it does a great job of keeping Orisa's teeth clean. Her gums and teeth are healthy and clean, and she has a great time getting her teeth cleaned. Keep in mind though that my dog has had her teeth brushed since she was a puppy and is happy to have it done with a toothbrush, so I can't speak on how well it would work if you let them lick it like some toothpastes recommend. I will say that if your dog lets you brush their teeth but you can't stand the weird smell their breath has afterward, Vets Best makes a toothpaste that is less effective but makes their breath much nicer. Orisa also loves the taste of the Vets Best toothpaste.

My dog loves this stuff. Brushing his teeth is a breeze with this toothpaste. I normally use a toothbrush for his hygiene routine, but for the sake of the video I wanted to show how easily he eats it. It has a minty flavor which is great. He never has bad breath. This is an enzyme toothpaste which is great and safe.

I'm sure it works great if my dogs would allow me to put it on their teeth. So, this may sound crazy but I tried a bit of it to see why they don't like it since to me it smells like chicken thus, I thought, it must taste like chicken. Well, it doesn't. It's got a tiny bit of chicken taste but it mostly tastes of a weird minty taste... Hard to describe. But it is cooling on the tongue so there's got to be some kind of mint. I understand why they wouldn't like it since minty is not something dogs normally go for. I smear it on my new pack member's teeth anyway just because he has the worst breath I have ever smelled on a dog with decent teeth. I'll update the rating if it helps his breath. I only gave 3 stars at this time because they hate the taste and it's difficult to get them to use it.

My dog seems to like it, it smells like liver or something but although I don’t like it she does! Good size tube. It’s no better or worse than any other dog toothpaste for keeping her teeth clean but it’s a good price for the size of the tube.
