The insulation is very good. Once your in it, You won't feel the outside cold at all. It gets warm inside soon and remains It's not too heavy and rigid, which is very comfortable. Used it for a few weeks now, and it's wonderful for winters. The temperature here gets 12 to 15, on the low side, and still it's tends to more than enough. I think it can be useful for even lower temperatures due to it's great insulation. Satisfied with the purchase. Initially the blanket smells a little for few days, but then it's gone. So I am happy about it.
