The G2X Pro is a compact yet powerful polymer-body flashlight that uses a high-efficiency LED--virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break--to provide two light output levels: a brilliant, penetrating, perfectly pre-focused 320-lumen beam, and a 15-lumen low-output setting that lets you greatly extend the runtime per set of batteries, an invaluable option when you find yourself miles from civilization. Press the tailcap switch for momentary-on low, press further to click constant-on low, return to off and press or click on again within two seconds for high. The tough Nitrolon polymer body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and resists scratches, abrasion, and corrosion. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector delivers a comparatively wider beam with generous peripheral light.

Now I'm on board, this thing is awesome, its built like a tank. You can tell when you have it in your hand that it is built very well and they paid attention to detail. I like it so much I decided to make it my every day carry light and I bought a StreamLight as a backup light to carry in my bug out bag (the StreamLight takes AA and I have a solar battery charger). I also bought a 12 pack of cr123 SureFire batteries to put in my BOB for the G2X, on low setting the battery life is good so this will last a long time. While the StreamLight is a very good light and a little cheaper, I think it was well worth the money for the SureFire, going from high, low, strobe is much easier on the SureFire, it's brighter, better battery life, and overal feels much more durable. If a A-Bomb landed right on the SureFire I feel like it might survive, that's how tough it feels. It was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a well made high quality flashlight.

A: No, the beam is not adjustable, other than the intensity - 15 and 320 lumens

A: Yes, mine was the 320 as it states in the product description. The older ones were 200. I Love mine. I use it daily and the batteries lasted almost a year.

**Q: With Surefires lastest up-graded model G2X Pro does the 320 come on first?**
A: On mine 15 first, then 320.

**Q: hello, can this light use flat top 18650 rechargeable batteries ?**
A: I'm not familiar with the 18650 battery, however if it is the same size and voltage (3V) as the 123A cells that the light calls for, I would think it should work just fine.

I used to always stay away from SureFire lights because I felt they were too bulky for how bright they were. I stuck to ultra bright but small lights. But after getting a few of these lights they have become my favorite way to illuminate something. The size makes it comfortable to carry for a long period of time, and the brighter colors are also very useful for when you need to find it quickly. For the money these are great lights that will last you for decades.

Like most guys I have a lot of flashlights most of them very cheap, I decided to get a high quality one for my bug out bag. I was skeptical and found it ridiculous paying $60-$100 for a flashlight but I finally pull the trigger and bought the G2X Pro Duel Output.
